Water Skiing Lessons
Water
skiing is a popular sport on Loch Earn and Active Scotland has
instructors in place to cater for beginners to experienced skiers.
Beginners start on the bar which sits at the side of the boat and is
used by many leading ski clubs to help individuals get up skiing as
quickly as possible. If you can already ski then the guys at Active
Scotland can just take you out for a set on the water or you can
book in a lesson with them.
Wakeboarding Lessons
Wakeboarding
is a hybrid of surfing, water skiing and snowboarding it's a must if
you are into your extreme sports. It’s really great fun and once
you get the hang of being towed along, a bit like on a skateboard,
then you can really start to enjoy it. Again, the instructors work
with beginners to experienced riders here.
Inflatable / Towable Rides
Whether it is for the kids or you are a big kid yourself Active Scotland
have a number of inflatable rides that can accommodate from 2 people
up. Grip tight to the handles and get set for a rollercoaster ride
skimming across the water which will leave you wanting more!
Boat Hire
You can book an Active Scotland boat plus driver by the hour so whether
you want to cruise up and down Loch Earn, practice your next
wakeboard ‘ollie’, take the inflatable’s out or tune up on
your slalom cutting style then this is the option for you.
Mountain Bike Hire
Mountain
bike hire can be booked for ½ day or a full day dependant on your
stay with us here. There are many routes available to the keen off
roader including the national route 7 which is on the old railway
line running through Lochearnhead. Further details and a map can be
found from the Active Scotland next to the hotel.
Quad Bike Treks
Get set for a great adventure as LANTRA qualified instructors take you up
Carstraan hill in Lochearnhead. After your initial briefing session
you will traverse the hill on 125cc Yamaha quad bikes before
reaching a plateaux where you will then follow the trek leader
around well laid out tracks that everyone can follow. These machines
are great fun to play on and with the breathtaking views back over
Loch Earn it’s a must to take your camera too.
Paintballing
With several game
zones surrounding you can be assured of a lock n load adrenaline
pumping shift.
